Local anesthesia is used to thoroughly numb the treatment area so you can remain comfortable throughout the procedure. In most cases, patients are awake during treatment.
For patients who feel anxious or would like additional help relaxing, we also offer nitrous oxide and oral sedation. With oral sedation, you may become very drowsy and may remember little of the procedure.
